
Archive
In its archive, the Society’s holds documents and photographs covering many aspects of Keyworth’s history, its trades and people. It includes original papers and photographs, as well as copies of important records held elsewhere. The scope of the collection is diverse and brings Keyworth’s history alive.
The Society maintains an archive of material relating to the history of Keyworth and it’s neighbouring villages. This archive is available to the general public by appointment with the Archivist. Requests for copies of certain items in the collection may also be made to the Archivist using the contact page on this site.

Drawer 2, Part 1 | THE ATTEWELL COLLECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHS The Attewell Collection was discovered in the attic of 8, Main Street, Keyworth, (former Post Office) by Les Yallup during alterations after Mr. & Mrs. Attewell had left. There is no date for the discovery. Few photographs have dates but several were identified in 2006 by a member of the Attewell family visiting Keyworth. |
